My name is Miller!

My journey as a children’s author began after my beloved pet cockatiel, Goldie,
spread his wings and flew up to the twinkling stars.

Goldie was more than just a pet bird - he was my best friend.

To honour him and our 20-year friendship,
I wrote stories about him to read to my daughters.

With my family’s encouragement, I decided to self-publish
so that I could share Goldie’s adventures and wisdom with others.

Beyond writing children’s books, I work in human resources and have a counselling and HR degree.

I never imagined ‘children’s author’ would be listed on my resume - but I’m thrilled that it is.

Through Goldie’s Stories, I hope to help children learn about friendship, love, loss, and resilience.
